Immerse yourself in the world of Noh, one of the oldest active theatre traditions in the world. Learn what is Noh and its history thanks to the audio guide and tablet. The Ohtsuki Noh Theatre was built in 1935 and was the first Noh theatre in the nation that had chairs for the audience. As the only Noh theatre in Osaka City that escaped the ravages of war, it has contributed to the promotion of the Kamigata culture in the years since. The Noh stage of Ohtsuki Noh Theatre was registered as a Registered Tangible Cultural Property on April 25, 2014. The program includes viewing the Noh Theatre with a help of a recorded audio guide and a tablet terminal which explain Noh in several languages. Receive audio guide, tablet, booklet and paper Noh mask at the reception. Enter the Noh Theatre and amazed by the authentic Noh Stage which is registered as an important cultural property. Listen to the audio guide and learn what is Noh and its history. Feel the world of Noh. Sitting in the silent Noh Theatre without performance brings you a new experience. Put a paper Noh mask on your face, you will be surprised how Noh actors play performances in such a limited sight.
