One day, he is invited to a new world where only successful people can enter. He thought he would finally get to show off to his grandma, but while he was still enthralled, he was informed that this was a mistake. Not wanting to be made a fool of again, Hakkai made a secret promise to the Gyuruma King to dive into Sanzang's team. He was to leak information about Sanzo and his team in order to help Ushu-Maou with his Eternal Life Plan, and in exchange he was to obtain a secret route to the New World.
