Now, it launches a new series, “LOCUL” (Local), in Yoyogi-Uehara. With the concept “Connecting to the world from the local,” LOCUL curates artists and cultural voices who are organically connected to the global scene in their everyday practice. The aim is to create an experience where, even while standing in a local Tokyo neighborhood, a natural sense of connection to the wider world emerges. In addition to the already announced Yuto Uchino (The fin.) and brkfstblend, TAMTAM and HUGEN have now been confirmed, completing LOCUL’s full live lineup. On the day of the event, a market curated around the same concept will also take place, bringing together local Tokyo shops and cultural projects. The venue will allow free movement between floors, encouraging visitors to explore both the live performances and the market throughout the day. The event will be held at OPRCT, located just in front of Yoyogi-Uehara Station — a neighborhood where new cultures surrounding clothing, food, and living continue to emerge alongside everyday life. Starting at 16:00 as a daytime event, guests are invited to move freely between the live stage and the market, enjoying the experience at their own pace.
