Although you must select a date at purchase, you may enter on any day within the period Please present the Honmaru Area Admission Ticket at the Honmaru entrance (inside Nijo Castle, in front of the East Inner Moat Bridge). The Honmaru entrance is about a 10-minute walk from the main entrance; please arrive early. Last entry to the Honmaru Area is 21:15. Early Bird Tickets are sold from Sep 24 (Wed) 10:00 – Oct 30 (Thu) 23:59. Kyoto residents or students attending schools in Kyoto City receive a discount (¥500 off for junior high school students & above, ¥300 off for elementary school students). Please bring valid ID (driver’s license, My Number card, certificate of residence, etc.). Discounts are refunded at a special booth after entry, not at ticket purchase. Discounted Tickets for Persons with Disabilities are available for the holder of disability certificates (physical, intellectual, mental, or Mirairo ID) and one accompanying caregiver. Please present the certificate at the entrance gate. Free admission for preschool children. Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be changed, except in the case of suspension or cancellation by the organizer. Entry may be restricted in case of congestion. Final entry is 21:00. Depending on waiting line conditions, admission may close earlier. In such cases, even if you have a ticket, you may not be admitted. Nijo Castle admission passes (such as “World Heritage Nijo Castle One-Time Patron Donation Benefit” or Kyoto Citizen Annual Passport) are not valid for entry. This exhibition only allows access to designated areas. The Ninomaru Palace and Honmaru Palace interiors are not open to the public. Use of monopods and tripods inside the venue is prohibited. Pets are not allowed. Additional paid contents may be available inside the venue.
