At his revival meetings, people are swept away by the “miracles” he performs—cheering, shedding tears, and having their hearts moved. But it is all a blatant lie. Jonas is actually a con man who travels from town to town staging fake “miracles” to collect donations, together with his sister Sam (Natsumi Kon / Cent Chihiro Chitch), and accomplices Ida Mae (Marcia) and Ornella (MARIA-E). One day, the bus carrying Jonas and his troupe breaks down in the rural Kansas town of Sweetwater, leaving them stranded. Jonas decides to hold another revival meeting there, plotting to make easy money once again. There he encounters Marla (Haruka Mase), the town’s sheriff. Suspicious of the group, Marla orders them to leave town. Undeterred, Jonas sets up a tent and begins preaching, captivating the townspeople with one fraudulent trick after another. Amid this, Jake (Shirabe Kawaguchi / Yuku Kobayashi), Marla’s only son who has difficulty walking, approaches them. Isaiah (Yoshiro Itokawa / Ruisei Kihara), Ida Mae’s son and a young man attending Bible school, has returned home on vacation, but feels deep disgust toward Jonas’s deceit. As these conflicting emotions intertwine, something within Jonas begins to change. Can a man who has built his life on lies truly bring about a “real miracle”?
